We are now looking for a Product Design Engineer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. The Role As a Product Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of a range of innovative and bespoke packaging solutions. Producing products such as cardboard cartons, moulded EPS components, HDPE bottles and LLDPE bags, you ll support new product design projects, contributing to designs and manufacturing samples. Working with internal stakeholders and manufacturing partners, you ll develop packaging components and systems, generate Bills of Materials and maintain an archive of artworks and components. Additionally, you will: – Provide technical assistance to the Sales, Quality and Operations teams – Support thermal and physical testing requirements – Ensure compliance with relevant brand and regulatory guidelines About You To be considered as a Product Design Engineer, you will need: – Experience in a similar product design role – Excellent skills in 3D CAD software (such as SolidWorks) and Adobe Illustrator (or similar) – Knowledge of print design and other manufacturing processes – A fantastic eye for detail – A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to our location) Other organisations may call this role Design Engineer, Product Design & Support Engineer, CAD Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Designer, CAD Technician, or Design Technician.
