Description

This Leading UK Speciality Retailer are looking to recruit a Commercial Product & Pricing Data Analyst to optimise revenue on various sales channels and enhance ROI through Market analysis. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to work with Data Scientists and Pricing Analysts to identify, trial and deliver initiatives to unlock market opportunities and growth potential.

The role is a combination of office and remote working with approximately 2-3 days per week onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of specialist product sales & marketing, understanding all of the processes and the key dynamics that drive customer/consumer decisions
• Taking full ownership of trials and initiatives that will add value and improve current sales channels mechanisms
• Ensuring a data led approach to trials and initiatives, working closely with Data Scientists to demonstrate value
• Planning meticulously to ensure trials are prioritised and organised effectively
• Building strong working relationships across various teams within the business and managing expectations of key stakeholders
• Work with Data Scientists and Management Information analysts to improve Data Dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik experience is desirable) to enable operations, sales, marketing and senior management make effective strategic decisions.

• Possess strong presentation skills and are confident explaining complex subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
• Desire to challenge the status quo and deliver improvements
• Experience of collaborating with people of different skill sets to uncover opportunities that will add value or improve efficiencies
• Experience of carrying out and measuring the impact of trials and make recommendations and hold debates on decisions with key stakeholders
• Experience of analysing data and providing insight
• Highly customer focused with ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to delegate work effectively
