Production / Manufacturing Assistant

Salary: £9.20 -£10.70 per hour, dependant on age/experience
Permanent Contract upon successful completion of 6 month probationary period
Full-time: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm)
Base: Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

We manufacture scanners for the medical/biotechnological industries. We are a small family run business which has been trading for over twenty years. We are an expanding company and are very excited to be recruiting for a new member of the Production team.

The core duties will be to work with our production team in the manufacture and repair of a range of optical scanners according to agreed written procedures.

The job will involve hands on electronic assembly work, soldering, cable and loom production.

Assist with testing of software and the development of new products as required.

Full training will be carried out and each process will be explained in detail.

There are strong possibilities to develop within the company over time.

Production / Manufacturing Assistant Requirements:

• Interest in IT and light engineering or electronics.
• Ability to work accurately from a written procedure.
• Pay attention to detail and ensure work is of a high quality at all times.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to complete job sheets and record test results as required.
• Aptitude for problem solving.
