Psychologist – Adults

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work within an adult mental health service in Windsor , overall CQC rated “Good” and “outstanding” for Care.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working across inpatients, outpatients and day patients, approx. 80% of which will be outpatient focused with adult services users offering both 121 and group therapy. The post holder will also have an opportunity to provide supervision and input to service development.

The successful candidate will work with a broad spectrum of presentations which will include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress, OCD, eating disorders, PTSD and addiction. Evidence based interventions used include CBT, CBT, MBCT, psychoanalytic therapy and family therapy.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time, full time and hybrid working will be considered.

Salary – £45,000 – £70,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with experience of delivering psychological therapy to adults with complex mental health problems.
