Robert Half Cambridge are partnered with a global industrial software business in Cambridge in their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their central finance team on a 12 month FTC. The ideal candidate will be immediately available or on a 1 week notice.
This role offers hybrid working with 2 or 3 out of the 5 days being required in the office. Salary of up to £28,000 with great benefits which include, 28 days’ annual leave plus UK public holidays, group bonus scheme (based on personal/company performance) and £1080 per annum of flexible benefits to spend on top of all of that!
The Role:
Process PO related invoices and credit notes ensuring accurate coding & approval for payment.
Process non-PO related invoices to ensure accurate coding and approval for payment.
Process and analyse financial data related to Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring that all AP & VAT controls are performed.
Review & validate all manual payment requests.
Perform creditor reconciliations.
Process Travel and Expense(T&E) claims including perform compliance and audit reporting
Investigate and resolve AP and T&E queries
Experience:
Operational accounting and reporting experience
Good understanding of finance systems including ERP
Computer literacy, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, Power point
