MAST is a multi-art form venue presenting and producing theatre, dance, music, comedy, spoken word and family shows. We work with the best touring companies and local artists to present a diverse, vibrant, high-quality artistic programme, alongside our own MAST productions and co-productions.

We are now looking for a Sales Ledger Accountant to join our busy, friendly Finance Team to operate and maintain the sales ledger.

SALES LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

You will:

• Be responsible for the operation of the sales ledger, including timely and accurate sales invoicing, payment allocation and debt collection services as necessary.
• Reconcile and record Ticket Sales from the Mayflower Theatre Box Office service and other sources both accurately and on a timely basis.
• Reconcile and record Ancillary Sales from all sales outlets both accurately and on a timely basis.
• Maintain sales analysis spreadsheets for the timely provision of information to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
• Assist the Management Accountant with preparation of show settlements and PRS returns.
• Assist with stock takes and analysis of stock results.

Do you have:

An AAT qualification or similar

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Accounting software knowledge

Microsoft Office products experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an added advantage.

Hours of work may be varied and may include evening and weekends, so flexibility is essential but based on a 37.5 hour week. Salary will be up to £25,000 pa with benefits.
