Our client, a leader in the innovation of cloud telephony technology are looking for a Sales Support Manager to join their succesful business.

Description:

The Sales Support Manager plays a pivotal role in spearheading the efficient administration and support of the Sales team. As an integral part of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the customersthroughout their journey, from initial inspection to the seamless delivery of the business bespoke systems.

Key Duties:

• Oversee the sales support team consisting of sales support executives.
• Take responsibility for the administration of sales leads, orders, and contracts.
• Manage and ensure a smooth transition of the department to new systems and processes as needed.
• Provide administration support for travel arrangements and ad-hoc purchases.
• Compile sales reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist Regional Sales Managers and Sales Director with administrative tasks.
• Aid in the processing of large-scale orders, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
• Manage and supervise the performance of the sales support team.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales support processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
• Monitor team performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Participate in meetings and provide input on sales strategies and goals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to sales support.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
• Continuously assess and optimise sales support procedures to maximise efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on product and service offerings to effectively support sales efforts.
• Comply with the company’s Health & Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, PCI & DSP policies and procedures.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Previous team management experience is essential
• Completing a similar role in the past two years
• Diplomatic in approach to work with colleagues and customers
• Excellent Google skills or Microsoft which can be transferred
• Able to work across departments and remain calm in situations that can be stressful whilst being able to balance workload
• Proven ability to work in similar roles to a good standard completing administration for and behalf of remote colleagues
• Qualifications to GCSE or equivalent
• Knowledge of great customer service, internally and externally
