REED FE are seeking inspirational and resilient individuals who are passionate about making a difference, working to restore effective learning habits and behaviours, and supporting the personal development and progression students.
In this role, you will support, coach and mentor learners who may be at risk of dropping out or not achieving on their course due to issues with engagement, attendance, behaviour, or motivation.
You will provide individualized support and targeted interventions to a case-load of students, either 1:1 or in small groups, relating to their personal development, their learning and their careers, enabling them to engage successfully with their programme and progress to the next level of learning or employment.
The successful Intervention Coach will have the following skills and qualifications:
Experience of working with young adults within a school or college environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a coaching and mentoring role
Level 2 English and Maths qualification or equivalent
DBS on update service or willingness to apply for one
