Senior Bid Manager – Maternity Cover FTC, Manchester
DWF is looking to recruit a Senior Bid Manager on a maternity cover contract to be based in our Manchester office, but working internationally with colleagues from across our global footprint.
The Senior Bid Manager will play a critical role in helping to lead the bid team as well as setting the direction of bidding for new work and delivering high value bids (£500k+) to ensure that DWF grows top line revenue. The Senior Bid Manager will report directly to the Head of Bids and will generate high quality, persuasive business development materials which create a compelling case for change.
The Senior Bid Manager will take ownership of and drive the bid process to deliver compelling solutions for clients; including project managing planning meetings, bid/no bid meetings, launch meetings, story boarding sessions and pricing discussions. They will also be expected to support the Head of Bids on complex strategic firm wide pitch opportunities, which assist in winning new business and retaining key accounts in the firm’s client portfolio.
This high-visibility business critical position calls for a strong communications professional with excellent writing, project management and collaboration skills.
Working as a part of a high performance pre-established bid team, this role requires the individual to undertake pre-pitch client research, in addition to acting as a facilitator/advisor on formal/informal pitches to support the lawyers in winning/acquiring new business.
