Senior Finance Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for an organized and experienced Senior Finance Officer to join the Finance Team at an organisation making a real difference in people’s lives.
Position: Senior Finance Officer
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week
Salary: F/T Equivalent £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
The role will cover all aspects within a finance function of a charity. You will be responsible for the delivery of internal financial management systems and controls, and for maintaining accurate financial management records, including managing the process of producing draft management accounts to report to the Head of Finance.
The Senior Finance Officer will work with the Head of Finance on the development of new systems and procedures to keep pace with the changing shape of the organisation. You will ensure the organisation has proper financial systems and controls in place to process.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in preparations for the end of year and audits, production of management accounts as well as bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prior knowledge of charity sector finances would be advantageous. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and work well as a team member.
