The Finance team has to help the business grow and achieve its goals. We partner across the business with new initiatives, from sales to technology, in order to support growth in all areas. Our role is to take into account every aspect of the company combined, to make sure we’re financially sound and heading in the right direction. With the rate at which our business is growing, life in the finance department is never dull. Every day is different and provides a different challenge, whether that’s forecasting, reporting or learning – there’s a lot of room to prove yourself and to progress.
The ideal candidate will have 4 years of relevant FP&A experience with a track record of working with complex financial analysis, understanding and giving insight into key drivers behind the financial and non-financial performance, and a detailed understanding of financial statements. Comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint presentations. Ability to oversee multiple P&L items across various countries.
Experience in establishing relevant KPIs for performance management and understanding their relationship with financial metrics. Ability to develop strong business relationships and networks with stakeholders across multi-national organizations.
Preparation of presentations to the Management Board, including Monthly Management reports, Budget and Forecast reports and Board reports. Drafting of detailed commentary to give valuable insight, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Ensure consistency of reporting across all markets, such as allocation methods, KPI definitions, FX reporting etc. Maintain alignment on new GL Accounts, Cost Centres, Recharges, Departments Segments, etc.
Own and maintain a relationship with local Finance Directors and their Finance teams across the globe. Maintaining a Risks and Opportunities register, authorising amendments to the rolling forecast. Maintain a relationship with the Business Intelligence teams and use Tableau to provide continually improving insight.
Design and review of budget/forecast submission templates, review of budget/forecast submissions to pick out errors or inconsistencies
Ongoing coaching and assisting newly qualified Analysts. Confidence to represent Senior Manager during annual leave.
Partner with Treasury team for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting
Ad hoc analysis to show trends and give valuable insight for the Management Board and Investor Relations.
Proactive and ongoing improvement of processes. Interrogate the finance system to pick out errors or inconsistencies before they are reported.
Required skills and experience
Able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. An eye for detail, accurate and precise. Able to manage mid-size projects and work effectively within a team. Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships and delivers the Centre of Excellence solutions.
Comfortable with occasional international travel.
Must have a professional finance qualification (ACCA, Cima, FCA).
Experience with analytics, planning and corporate performance management software
Experience working with Anaplan, Onestream, Thinkcell, Tableau.
