Harvey Nash’s public sector client is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Manager on a six month contract. The client is based in Edinburgh, however, this role will be working from home whilst Covid restrictions are in place. The successful candidate will be supporting the HR Director with generalist HR activities and play a key role in implementing a range of people initiatives within the HR team.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 regulations by the client, therefore, the use of an Umbrella company is required. The rate on offer is £200-£300/day.
Support the Director, HR and facilitate support to major corporate wide change initiatives
Make an active contribution to the development and effective functioning of the wider HR Unit
Lead and prioritise the delivery of excellent partnership working;
Role model and champion diversity and inclusive leadership in all interactions with stakeholders
Analyse people metrics to add value to strategic decision making relating to the unit’s work priorities and strategic people management across the organisation;
Provide professional leadership and direction to HR staff setting and maintaining professional standards
Provide professional advice on people related matters to senior managers and Directors
Provide support for our response to and recovery from Covid-19 including with the development and revision of guidance and policies
