A Senior Investment Analyst is sought to join our Responsible Investment team, part of our Global Research department, to play a key role in the development and coordination of investment and stewardship research, engagement and proxy voting.
You will work closely with colleagues, sector analysts and portfolio managers in both the equity and fixed income asset classes, developing and coordinating research and engagement focused on potential and existing corporate controversies (incl. those linked to breaches of legal and regulatory requirements, or international standards such as the UN Global Compact), identifying actionable investment insights and engaging with companies/issuers. You will also play a role in shaping and helping to oversee the firm’s use of the voting rights.
The role offers a great opportunity for an experienced analyst, lawyer, accountant or other professional to join an award-winning team in a large global research department. • Previous experience in investment analysis, corporate engagement or in a comparable professional capacity.
• Previous asset management or investment analyst background
• CFA, Accounting or legal qualification or equivalent
• Familiarity with R / Python would be an advantage
• Ability to mentor and develop other analysts
• The role may involve occasional global travel
