Several .NET Developer roles (Mid to Senior Level)

Lorien is working with a really interesting, exciting, growing and very profitable technology solutions company who are looking for a highly skilled .NET Developers – ranging from Mid to Senior level Developer in C# ASP.NET, MVC and SQL Server.

Our clients are looking for you to join them on a permanent basis to be based out of their modern office in Edinburgh (But the role will be fully remote). The successful candidates will work on a variety of internal and client facing projects, across the entire SDLC, varying from Cloud, Front End and Back End Development projects.

The role:

Our clients are anticipating considerable growth over the next few years and you will be working within either large or small teams of highly skilled developers on applications within a Microsoft environment producing and promoting high quality code (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, .NET Core, JavaScript)

They are are very passionate about their end clients and the projects they work on. There will be client interaction along with UI design and development. You will be developing new applications, including design, coding, testing, and implementation within an agile development framework for the vast array of new and exciting projects.

About you:

We aren’t looking for average. You are very, very good at what you do. If you say so yourself, you are probably the best at what you do at your current level! You will have a genuine passion for technology and what it can do. You won’t need your hand held – you will be a creative thinker who can come up with solutions and you will be happy to constantly update your skills and attend training courses to stay ahead of the competition.

We don’t mind what kind of company you have worked in before, but you will need to be happy to get involved in all aspects of the business as you to help make it the success it will be. Ideally hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT related degree and will live and breadth the latest technology trends. Be up for a challenge and happy to work on your own or as part of team, along with being a strong communicator.

You will be able demonstrate well rounded skill in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JS and HTML whilst keeping abreast of the latest tools, techniques and best practice in software engineering. Knowledge with SQL Server is essential. You don’t need to tick all the skills boxes as long as you are willing to learn, but the more exposure the better!
