Operating all across the UK they specialise in infrastructure, telecommunication and renewable energy. They are looking for an experienced planner to join their office in Liverpool! Due to a sustained period of growth within the company they are looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to grow their career rapidly within the company.
The Role:
Writing and leading on a wide variety of planning applications
Writing planning reports for different Planning Authorities
Manage a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
Liaise with primary clients throughout the planning process
Undertake background research, conduct site visits and preparing planning assessments and reports
Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to produce successful results
Liaising with local authorities and other statutory bodies regarding planning applications etc
Attend meetings with clients, project teams and other stakeholders
You will be helping mentor the more junior staff members
Requirements to apply:
Must have some post-graduate experience – both private and public sector will be considered or a combination!
MRTPI qualified or working towards completion
Excellent knowledge of the UK Planning system and up to date legislation
Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with new solutions to potential problems that may arise
Th e ability to work under tight deadlines whilst still producing high quality results
Strong communications skills both written and verbal
Must have competent IT skills and analytic skills
Being highly motivated and ambitious is highly desirable for this position
Must work well as part collaboratively – my client values teamwork and a supportive attitude in the office
Full Driving Licence and own vehicle.
