The Strategic Accounts team has successfully grown over the the past 18 months to become a vital key component of our strategic objectives within the UK. Over this short period the team has successfully partnered with many of the leading global brands operating in the UK and have onboarded thousands of branded restaurant stores across the UK.
We are now looking for a talented individual, to join this exciting fast paced Strategic Accounts team in a business development role focusing on the acquisition of global, national and scaled branded restaurant groups onto the Just Eat platform.
Overall responsibility for driving the Strategic Partnerships team forward and managing a pipeline of prospecting, pitching and closing agreements with branded restaurant groups to join the Just Eat platform.
Ownership of the team acquisition pipeline ensuring effective management of a portfolio of active and target leads, and providing regular status updates to senior business stakeholders.
Line management of 2-3 Partnership Managers and Associates, working to drive the Strategic Partnerships agenda, owning the overall strategy and ensuring the team is delivering against this.
Working and delivering against challenging quarterly targets and creating mitigation plans where needed to ensure delivery.
Working closely with legal teams to create bespoke commercial agreements (where needed) and ensuring that these are fit for purpose.
Development of tailored high quality pitch and briefing documents accompanied by strategic analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) that support the process.
To develop strong relationships with key decision makers at multiple levels of the target organisation.
Work closely with the wider Strategic Accounts team senior leaders to ensure that new restaurant partners are successfully onboarded and are set up for success with an ongoing Strategic Account Manager.
Representing Just Eat at industry conferences and events to establish key contacts, relationships and connections across the wider sector.
Required skills and experience
Solid business development/acquisition experience within a fast moving industry.
Commercially savvy with strong negotiation & influencing skills.
Experience of leading sales/business development teams and generating results.
Experience of working with large, complex commercial agreements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for a confident communicator with experience of the pitching process across different sized organisations.
Ability to create and maintain strong relationships.
