Signal Processing Engineer role is now available for an experienced and well educated candidate who can join a world leading team to work on development of a new flow metering application. You will contribute to the theory, hardware and software of the application, so you should be a well rounded engineer who can work with other cross functional colleagues.
This role will we reponsible for the following –
Contribution to the ongoing development of products offered in the market areas of alternative energy (e.g., carbon, capture, utilization and storage; geothermal), oil/gas, and defence.
Research project management, ensuring project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
Planning and performing flow loop experiments using DAS, including fibre installation, measurements and data processing.
Supporting business units in conceptual and proposal development, advising on data processing and instrument configuration, drafting detailed technical proposals for client specific requirements.
Adhering to Company’s and clients’ HSE requirements and local legislation at all times and actively promoting safe work practices.
Provide assistance and support as necessary to enable to meet development targets and timelines.
The Candidate:
The candidate will have experience in array signal processing, both theoretical and applied and also significant experience or knowledge of fluid mechanics. The successful candidate should be self-motivated to solve critical problems through the application of some of the world’s most innovative and advanced sensor technology. The ability to gain a rapid application-level understanding of distributed sensing systems will be required. Commitment to travel will be important for this position.

Candidates with experience of flow metering, or similar industrial applications would be of specific interest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable signal processing engineer to jon a well established and fast growing company. The role is based just outside London – and candidates will be required to be on site. You must have the right to work in the UK – and be willing to travel to client sites around the world.
