Calling all Hospitality Trainers with Kitchen / Chef skills!

Learn the art of Sushi and train our Teams to deliver the very best Customer service

Here at YO! we’re on the lookout for a number of Trainers to join our regional Training Team and work with us to open a number of exciting new sushi and streetfood kiosks across the UK.

Please note, this is a field based role with travel, you will be working across a number of sites within your region. Travel will include overnight stays and some weekend work. Own Transport is required.

About us:

Our growing retail division provides Tesco and Asda Customers with restaurant quality sushi and sensational street food across two in-store branded kiosks: YO! & Panku.

As regional Trainer, you’ll be a key player in delivering this exciting and growing concept and pioneering our street food revolution across our existing estate and within our new store openings.

About The Role:

Our Regional Trainers promote operational excellence and drive standards throughout their areas, they will support our Area Managers and provide engaging and innovative training to Teams within our two retail brands, YO! (Tesco) & Panku. (ASDA)

They deliver both pre- opening training for our new Teams and ensure our existing kiosks provide the very best food and service for our Customers.

They strive to build capability and drive our brand behaviours, ensuring our Managers and Teams are confident Operators who deliver fantastic results and love what they do.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will support your Area Manager with their new kiosk openings by training new Team Members to deliver our menus and love our food
• You will empower your Teams to drive their sales by teaching them to deliver fantastic service
• You will visit existing Kiosks and support the Kiosk Managers to improve and drive standards through hands on training and operational support
• You will teach our Team how to work safely and ensure all policies and procedures are followed
• You will Teach our Teams to effectively manage stock and ordering, ensuring production and wastage targets are managed correctly
• You will support the Area Manger to create engaged Teams through building a culture of team work and support
• You will ambassador our brand behaviours and values, recognising and rewarding our Teams and supporting us to develop our people and grow talent through our business

• You will be passionate about learning and development and love working with People in a fast paced, food environment
• Ideally, you’ll be engaging and compassionate, a confident communicator who can integrate well with new Teams and have a flare for building relationships and trust
• Ideally, you’ll be a foodie with expanding chef skills and a love for Sushi and Pan Asian flavours

Key Experience

• You’ll need to come from a food service or Hospitality background and have experience training Teams in both Kitchens and on Customer Service
• Ideally you’ll have plenty of professional Kitchen experience and will have worked as a Chef or within a food production role.
• You’ll be excited to learn the art of sushi and how to prepare our menus
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be a driver with access to your own transport
