Lead SRE Engineer – Retail/commercial banking – currently 100% remote

My client, a leading retail bank based in the City are looking for a SRE Chapter Lead to join their fast growing tech team.

You will be brought in as a Lead SRE to help deliver various projects using cutting edge-technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

• AWS Cloud SME
• Automation SME with strong knowledge of Terraform, and CI/CD Tools (like Jenkins or Azure DevOps)
• Strong Kubernetes and microservices
• Experience building & operationalising technologies like Kafka, Cassandra/ScyllaDB
• Indepth knowledge of Logging & Monitoring tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Production Operations experience with strong focus on aspects like Availability/Reliability/Scalability
• Comfortable working with languages like Python/Ansible/Bash
