This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our organisation. You will develop and coordinate a flexible and high quality service in one of our St Helens Supported Living Schemes for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and complex health needs. The Scheme is situated in the Clockface area of St Helens. You will supervise and manage established teams of staff providing person centered support to enable service users to maintain their independence, experience improved wellbeing and enjoy opportunities for personal development. The main function of the role will be to enact effective management of rotas and staff allocations to meet individual needs in a large service.

You will need to have prior relevant experience in social care and have an understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and complex health care needs. Your role will combine the provision of direct care and support with staff management and service coordination. You will need a positive and empowering approach with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and the families of service users and other agencies and professionals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with a passion for quality and personalised service provision. You will need to work flexibly as the post involves regular shifts and weekend working.
