About this job -Male Support Worker
We are looking for support workers to join our 6-bed specialist care residential home.
The people residing here are of mixed gender and ages. They may have emotional, behavioural and social difficulties and challenging behaviours.
We aim at reducing risk factors through personalised centred planning and by using a number of techniques to build independence, promotion of well-being and coping mechanisms to prevent future difficulties. Our specialist residential care services are designed for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, some of whom have also experienced emotional difficulties.
We aim to provide a safe environment whereby the people we support can live comfortably and happily. They can rely on our team to provide the care and support required and work together to integrate themselves back into the community.
The home is within a semi-rural location based near Ruddington Village.
We provide excellent training before you start which includes face to face training (this will include restraint training Mapa2) and you will be supported and welcomed by the team, working several shifts shadowing an experienced Senior Support Worker until fully competent and confident in the role.

7.00am-2.30pm or 2.30pm-10.00pm and 10pm-7am
