Vision for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a multi academy trust in Bolton to recruit a Religious Studies teacher for one of their schools. About the role The main purpose of the role is to provide inspirational and outstanding teaching whilst nurturing a safe, secure, and caring educational environment. The role will comprise of teaching RE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 for a permanent role to start in September 2023. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers. Requirements To be considered for the role of Teacher of RE you will: A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status The ability to teach to GCSE standard Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: QTS Key responsibilities As Teacher of RE you will be responsible for: Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability. Manage the classroom and teaching equipment so to create a positive learning environment which makes effective use of available resources. Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the students assigned. Attend meetings, carry out administrative tasks and duties as required. Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students so as to facilitate progression in students learning.
