Salary: Level 3 – £41,111 – £45,411 per annu

Our main area of focus is the elimination of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiases (intestinal worms). Endemic infections of these parasitic worms are found in some of the world’s most marginalised communities, and they can have a hugely detrimental effect on individuals, including:
The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Director – Access, the Technical Advisor will be responsible for the provision of all technical assistance required to support the governments of endemic countries to reach their control and elimination targets, namely for schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminths, specifically around access to and delivery of treatment. Having excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel regularly, you will also have good technical knowledge of the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases and will support the wider team in working respectfully and in partnership with our colleagues globally. You will have experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and effectively managing daily priorities in a flexible and adaptable manner.
