Trainee Technical Coordinator

My client is a busy multi-Utilities business, working with some of the leading House builders in the country, they provide designs, installs and connects electricity, water, gas, fibre networks and electric vehicle charging infrastructure on new residential developments.

They have a temp to permanent opportunity for a Technical Coordinator role in Braintree Essex.

Job summary:

To co-ordinate client utility requirements for their developments and, in conjunction with the central Design team, specify utility network layout and equipment and prepare necessary documentation, drawings and payments to enable proposals to be handed over to the operations team for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raising and resolving queries
• Provide excellent customer service
• Update web based and internal projects
• Specify utility network layout & equipment and prepare necessary documentation
• Liaise with Consultants, Contract manager and sub-contractors
• Secure approval of design
• Offer Technical support to the client on the operations team

Skills / Experience needed:

• Have an eye for detail
• Team player
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Adapts and responds well to change
• Willing to develop and learn
• High standard of office computer software
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in either construction industry/ warehouse / Technical roles

Working hours: Mon – Fri 8am-5pm
