Efficient administration of incidents; queries and requests from our internal users, service providers and external users to the Systems team.
Ensuring all incidents are accurately logged.
Prioritisation of queries and escalation as necessary.
Problem ownership, investigation and resolution.
System monitoring and health checks.
Supporting critical business key events.
Seeking to expand knowledge and documentation of business and processes.
Communicating incident progress to key stakeholders.
General office admin duties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work accurately and efficiently
Superb organisational and time management skills.
Must be able to demonstrate a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
Very Good PC skills – Word processing and Spreadsheets
Some familiarity with Mainframe and PC based systems.
Must have an aptitude and willingness to learn.
Exemplary timekeeping and attendance.
Any programming experience in COBOL. Natural, JCL, SQL.
Any Warehouse operations experience
Whilst assistance and training will be given to the right candidate, it is expected that you have the aptitude and self-motivation to develop your own skills and knowledge within the team environment.
