Salary from £39,313 to £47,148 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £50,614 pa inclusive of London allowance

We have an exciting opportunity for a Work-Based Learning Manager to join our friendly and proactive Employer Engagement team within LSE Careers. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the Work-Based Learning Programme, maximising the range of experiential and career development opportunities provided to students, proactively seeking new ways to engage employers and alumni. You will contribute to developing the Work-based Learning strategy in line with the LSE Careers objectives and the School’s 2030 strategy.
The Work-based Learning Programme will have a strong focus on empowering personal and professional growth of students through work-experience initiatives such as internships, consultancy projects, innovation challenges, virtual skills development, work-shadowing etc. You will play a key role within the Employer Engagement team in leading the delivery of projects and events that support student employability.
Candidates should have experience of leading a team, developing and implementing strategy, meticulous budget management, be successful at initiating, developing and maintaining customer relationships, can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines and have excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently to a variety of audiences.
LSE is a campus-based university and staff are expected to attend the London campus in fulfilling their role. Most staff balance working from the campus or remotely.
