What you’ll do

Platform Control are a 1st line technical support team that ensure that Sky broadcast content is robustly delivered to our customers. Platform Control are not directly customer facing – so critical issues come in via internal Sky departments or 3rd party providers or via our monitoring tools.

Platform Controllers work at the forefront of groundbreaking broadcast technology – supporting the newest technology as it’s being developed. The role is continually changing and evolving, and we’re looking for people who are excited to work within a dynamic team.

What you’ll bring

• Experience of Broadcast (DTH, IPTV & VOD) Platforms systems and workflows
• Previous experience in a service/ help desk role
• Broadcast (DTH, IPTV & VOD) experience
• Proven IT skills
• Experience of Platform systems & workflows
• Solid understanding of Databases, Microsoft, Unix or Linux
• Understanding of Networks
