Application Support Technician/Software Support
Northampton – hybrid working
£28,000 – £32,000 + benefits

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established and thriving company as an Application Support Technician in a time of growth.

In this role you will be responsible for enhancing the configuration of the company’s external software applications and systems. They have streamlined their process, so most tickets received will be via email; however, there will be the occasional user call where required!

They have an excellent company culture, paired with continuous learning and progression opportunities. Initially the role will be office based to get you up and running for a few weeks, then it can be much more flexible – potentially 1 day per week.

Requirements:

• Experience in an Application, Software or Product support role
• Knowledge of SQL/SQL Scripting
• Working knowledge of SQL Server
• Cloud exposure/understanding – Azure ideally, however AWS and GCP will also be considered
• Great customer service skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
• Experience of Service Desk Management Software
• A passion for solving complex problems and the ability to learn new skills quickly

Desirables:

• IT-based qualifications such as an IT-based degree, computer A/AS-level or equivalent
• EDM/ERP – Accounting software
