Here is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Manager within our Finance Team, responsible for managing our accounts receivable and payable functions. Key Duties and Responsibilities Managing a team of 5 people across Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Accounts Receivable. Actively manage and support the team with a strong focus on leadership and development. Maintain a robust transactional control environment in line with company policy. Managing the timely closure of the ledgers for month end Month End reporting of performance related to debtors, creditors, cash and key business KPIs. Ensuring all UK & overseas suppliers are paid and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Payment verification and approvals Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate capture of job costs and revenue Weekly cash forecasting and monitoring of cash flows Monthly bank reconciliations Monitoring and reporting against overhead budgets Month end and Adhoc reporting Experience & Qualities Required Experience managing teams and accounting functions. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Self-driven in seeking resolutions with problem accounts. Excellent organization skills with ability to meet strict deadlines.
