This position is responsible for providing finance and administration support within the divisional finance team and to work with colleagues to provide an efficient department. Working in Stalybridge the successful candidate will be part of a team working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Accountant. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the finance team to assist with the day to day administration and finance tasks Accounts payable including supplier statement reconciliations Accounts Receivables including assisting with credit control Deal with supplier and customer queries related to invoicing Processing of Credit Card Expenses To assist with petty cash and bank reconciliations To assist with photocopying, scanning and collating of material To assist with departmental filing on a regular basis Key Skills/Competencies The person must be reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious whilst displaying common sense and flexibility in supporting the divisional finance team Good numeracy skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable Strong written and verbal communication skills Integrity and confidentiality Qualifications Good level of understanding in Microsoft Office packages; Excel, Word and outlook Basic understanding of accounting process and procedures
