Four Squared Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Worcester based, market leading Manufacturing business.
They are currently recruiting for a Accounts and Administration Assistant on either a full or part time basis in order to support the Finance function, reporting directly to and supporting the Finance Manager.
Using an operations database, SAGE 50 Cloud and Microsoft packages, duties to include but not limited to: –
Purchase Ledger: –
Processing purchase invoices including matching delivery notes, checking to purchase orders.
Processing general payments including credit card payments and expense claims
Reconciling supplier statements
Recommending and processing supplier payments
Sales Ledger: –
Raising sales invoices
Processing sales receipts
Emailing customer statements
Credit control by email and telephone
Cash: –
Bank, credit card and foreign currency reconciliations
Cash flow preparation
Other duties: –
Processing monthly postponed VAT transactions
Processing credit applications
WEEE compliance report
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Ownership of filing system
Monitoring and reordering of office supplies.
Other accounting and administration duties as required.
Must be a positive, confident team player with excellent communication skills and great attention to detail.
Previous experience within accounts is preferred although full training will be provided including assistance with AAT qualification if desired.
