Accounts Assistant Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client s team in Halesfield on a temp-perm basis. The successful candidate will be highly experienced working within a fast-paced accounts department, have previous experience using SAGE, and will be eager to join a growing, industry leading company. Duties • Management and responsibility for the day-to-day company finances and accounting using Sage Software. • Management of the Purchase & Sales ledger ensuring high levels of accuracy. • Processing & reconciling of Company Credit Card. • Manage and processing of financial transactions. • Reconciling PAYE & organising monthly payment to HMRC. • Manage and processing of monthly Payroll and file online at HMRC. • Keep on top of Company Fleet (MOT s, Service & Maintenance). • Negotiation of Company & Fleet Insurance, Mobile Phones & Utility Contracts. • Monthly and quarterly VAT Returns, filing online at HMRC. • Manage and processing of monthly Company/Employee Pensions. • Bank Reconciliation. • Processing & reconciling of Petty Cash. • Manage & process CIS monthly sub-contractor return and file online at HMRC. • Managing Company Fleet (MOT s, Service & Maintenance). • Managing Staff Training, Holidays, Sickness and Absences. • Liaise with external accountants for year-end audit.
