Client Details

My client’s head accountancy office, based in Luton, have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their busy finance team.

Description

The chosen Accounts Payable Manager will be expected to:

• Monitor and look-over income and expenditure, investigating and reporting on variances and discrepancies.
• Manage balance sheets – ensuring clarity and accuracy of reconciliations.
• Preparation of the UK and US companies tax compliance requirements.
• Management of vendors through the system
• Working with outsourced payables company
• Working with companies for compliance with the vendor policy whilst implementing a robust system non-finance teams can use
• Management of junior expense processor
• Liaise with employees on Maconomy queries
• Assist with year-end audits, ensuring UK standards are met for UK entities.
• Take charge of the production of company payrolls, including bonus and commission schemes.

Profile

The successful Accounts Payable Manager must:

• Have held a similar role previously.
• Ideally be ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
• Have a good understanding of SAP or SAGE line 50 or 200
• Be willing to commute to the client’s head accountancy office, in Luton
