Job Purpose

Reporting into the Senior Group Accountant the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be a key member of the Finance Team.

Whilst supported by the larger team you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the AR function.

About The Role

Job Purpose

As a key member of the Finance team, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Business Development Team and Project Managers to ensure customer invoices are raised in a timely manner

Reporting customer receipts to key stakeholders within the business

Issuing monthly statements to customers

Managing credit limits and contacting customers regarding overdue invoices

Preparing and reporting monthly KPIs to management

Assisting with the set up and closure of customer sales contracts and projects within the ERP system

Preparing cash receipts forecasts

Creating intercompany recharge invoices

Setting up Direct Debit instructions and mandates each month.

Completing balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis

Preparing and submitting the monthly EC Sales List and Intrastat Return

Ad Hoc internal and external query resolution

Contributing to departmental improvement initiatives

Reviewing and improving internal controls

Other

To adhere to CDE policy and practice

To protect the confidentiality of all information and data held privately.

To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Required Criteria

Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
Proficient in MS Office, especially excel
Attentive to detail
Strong organisational skills
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good numerical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
Team player
Dependable and reliable
Enthusiastic self-starter able to work on own initiative
Available to work flexible hours and to travel as necessary
Current driving licence
Clearance to work in UK

Desired Criteria

Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline.
IATI qualification or equivalent
Experience of IFS / similar ERP system
Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
Experience of Readsoft
