Agency Technician
London/Hybrid
We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile Agency Technician to join our Partnership Management team across European Operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure that QBE continues to embed an effective Agency Management process by providing the foundation for Broker trading relationships.
This role will play a pivotal part in creating strong governance and controls, protecting the business from undue financial, regulatory and reputational risk and creating confidence for the senior management team.

Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in updating and consolidating the Approved Broker lists to ensure they are accurate and user friendly.
Monitor the generic Agency email inbox and assist where possible.
Actively liaise and promote Agency Management processes with all departments.
Work closely with Agency Manager to develop role and to own aspects of Agency processes.
Contribute to meetings and to support when covering leave.
Assist with investigating Broker acquisition / mergers and FCA changes.
To own the Agency Management Intranet page and ensure its up to date.
Assist / promote Broker onboarding processes and controls managed through Salesforce cases.
Participate with enhancements to Agency Management controls, guidelines and systems.
Assist with Toba management documentation.
Assist with wholesale and sub broker due diligence.
Regular 1 2 1’s with Line Manager to appraise and develop knowledge and skills.
Ad Hoc projects and tasks.
You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience, or clear potential to develop these:
Demonstrable administrative / document management experience in a commercial setting
Stakeholder management skills at all levels
A passion for the Insurance Market
Preferred Knowledge:
A good understanding of the Insurance Market
Experience either working for a Broker or Underwriting
Having worked in Agency Management
