We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team.

Description

The Air Conditioning & Renewable Engineer is responsible for installing and commissioning Single, Multi and VRV (VRF) Air conditioning systems and assist in the installation & commissioning of renewable heating systems equipment with associated products. This individual will have a high standard of work and able to work both on their own and in a team environment. The Renewable Heating Engineer has the confidence to liaise with customers and communicate effectively – solving problems and challenges as they arise.

• Communicates effectively with customer to explain how the products and system works.
• Provides ongoing help and support as the work is carried out.
• Install heat pump air conditioning, heating systems and renewable products.
• Provides support to the team when required with planned work.
• Completes the necessary paperwork for each of the completed jobs, in a timely manner.
• Undertakes training on new products and technologies in order to provide advice to customers with confidence.

Profile

The successful Air Conditioning Engineer will be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

• Air conditioning manufacturer training.
• Electrical qualifications.
• Current or previously held F-Gas
• 1 years’ experience of installing Domestic Air Conditioning.
• Experience of commissioning, testing, fault finding & repair of air conditioning systems.

Desirable:

• Renewable system manufacturer training.
• BPEC qualifications in heat pumps.
• Electrical testing qualifications
• Experience of working in the construction sector.
• Experience of installing commercial air conditioning & heat pumps.
• Previous plumbing or electrical experience.
• Experience of commissioning, testing, fault finding & repair of heat pump systems.

Technical competencies:

• Operates with integrity, demonstrating a professional manner and smart appearance to customers, at all times.
• Able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Communicates effectively when explaining the functionality of renewable energy heating system to a customer.
• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
