Glasgow Prestwick Airport are recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) to join part of a committed team, responsible for ensuring the safe provision of Air Traffic Services within the surrounding airspace. This is a permanent position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, on a rotational shift basis i.e. including weekend and night working.

Prestwick benefits from a diverse Airspace environment, through which a varying mix of traffic operates, from the smallest microlight to the largest commercial and military aircraft.
Applicants will preferably hold either a UK CAA Air Traffic Controller’s licence together with ADI and APS ratings or hold, or have held, equivalent UK Military Licence Endorsements. Previously held Unit Endorsements in these ratings and subsequent operational experience are preferred, and training could be arranged to gain a UK CAA ATCO licence in due course.
In all cases applicants will need to reach the required medical standard for ATCO Class 3 Medical Certification.
You should be hard-working, conscientious and have excellent communication skills. An OJTI and/or Assessor endorsement is desirable but not essential.
