Assistant Data Privacy Manager Lloyds Banking Group Salary & Benefits: £41,292 – £45,880 (depending on experience) Location: Chester (We’re flexible on location and can also consider candidates based out of Glasgow, London or Bristol) For many of our office based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.

Where does this role sit
The Assistant Data Privacy Manager sits within the Business Unit Data Office. This is a key role, responsible for helping our collaborators within the Business and Commercial Banking and Corporate and Institutional Banking business areas look after our clients personal data

What you’ll be doing:
Your day could include of any of the following:
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications needed
Professional Qualification: Hold a certified data privacy qualification
Deep understanding of privacy laws, regulations and best practices including GDPR, DPA 2018 and other applicable frameworks
Experience in a data privacy role
Experience with conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, breach reviews and data subject individual rights requests
Ability to analyse complex privacy issues, identify risks and provide practical solutions
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and clearly articulate privacy requirements
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing privacy requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
Display high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive data
