Purpose of the role:

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This diverse role is integral to the Finance Department and offers a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Accountancy. Working closely with the Finance Manager and other key business stakeholders, you will be tasked with supporting the production of the monthly management accounts for key Operational Functions of the Business

Responsibilities of the Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role of the successful candidate will undertake the following duties but not limited to:

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts & supporting information packs & analysis
• Production of revenue reports and KPI’s
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow reporting & forecasting
• Sales & purchase ledger
• Assisting with year-end process and annual audit
• Statutory declarations: VAT returns, VAT recs, National Statistics submissions
• Inter-company posting & reconciliation
• Maintain & reconcile fixed assets register including preparing & posting depreciation/amortisation journals
• Salary & wages/expenses postings including reconciliation of control accounts
• Bank reconciliations

What we’re looking for:

• Have basic experience of management accounts
• AAT level 3/CIMA studier or QBE
• Previous experience Accountancy systems – Microsoft Navision desirable but not essential
• Good communication skills

Package & Benefits:

• Salary 25,000 per annum
• 37.5 hours per week / Hybrid Working
