Join our dynamic team at In2assessments as an Associate Assessment Developer – Scrutiny Member! In2assessments are looking for technical-based assessment developers to prepare assessment materials for the following End-Point Assessments:
Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor
Level 5 Outdoor Learning Specialist
About the role:
As an expert in the field, you will have the opportunity to review and scrutinise our assessment development process, providing valuable feedback and recommendations for improvement. Your input will directly contribute to shaping the future of our apprentices and their successful transition to the next stage of their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team to review assessments within designated timelines. Provide feedback and make recommendations for enhancements to the assessment development group. Ensure assessments align with the assessment plan, promoting equality and fairness. Evaluate the language used in assessments to ensure suitability for the qualification level. Ensure materials are gender-neutral and free from bias. Assess marking criteria for appropriateness and alignment with grade expectations. Verify that assessments cover the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours. Establish clear control arrangements for assessors and apprentices.
Essentials:
Strong understanding and qualification in End-Point Assessment processes, with knowledge of Assessment design. You must have a background in outdoor learning ideally at an instructor training and assessment level. You will be able to show current practice and up-to-date CPD. You must hold an assessor qualification for EPA (CAVA, A1, D32/D33) and have previous experience in assessing candidates along with an internal verification qualification. (L4 IQA, V1, D34) You must be able to work towards tight deadlines, on your own and as part of an online team.
Desirable Experience/Skills:
Previous experience as an assessment developer. Familiarity with assessment methodologies. Holding a teaching qualification.
