The world of AV in local authorities may not sound like the most exciting, and the company will be honest, it doesn’t compare with working on super yachts BUT they are a very well established business working with great clients.
The company give training and progression opportunities, regular appraisals and salary reviews and they genuinely care about the staff they employ. They offer generous annual leave, TOIL, overtime and the ability to have input on the projects you will be working on along with other staff benefits.
The Role
The company are looking to recruit an AV Engineer to work within their team carrying out installations of their brilliant custom-built webcasting software and all of the wraparound AV equipment that goes along with that.
Rack building, service visits and helping their very well-respected Service Desk will also play a part in your role.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that installations are carried out to the highest level with minimal waste of project time and resource. A ‘right first time’ mentality to prevent return site visits is a must.
The right person will be willing to travel (van provided) and spend some time working away (usually 8-10 nights a month). They don’t expect you to know it all, but a willingness to be proactive and learn new technology is essential.
We are really flexible on location but being within a reasonable distance of either our Hove or Halifax offices would be an advantage.
