This is a mid-tier Solutions Architect role focusing on delivering end-to-end AWS solutions to global clients whilst supporting Seniors with hands on activities.
Fully Remote mid-level Solution Architects focusing on delivering AWS Solutions to global clients.
As a AWS Solutions Architect, you will:
Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design customised solutions using AWS services and technologies.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS solutions, utilising best practices and industry standards.
Work with DevOps teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, using tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
Ensure solutions are optimised for performance, availability, and cost, and provide recommendations for cost optimisation and resource utilisation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
Stay current with AWS technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams.
Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development, as needed.
Key Requirements:
Requires AWS Certification and 3 years relevant experience preferably from a consulting business having worked with multiple clients at once delivering AWS solutions or supporting seniors in the conceptualiation/design and deployment of these solutions.
AWS CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED – Either working towards one or currently valid certificate is a must.
At least 2 years of experience in designing and deploying AWS solution and been client facing
The above may include but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and IAM.
At least 3 years technical experience with cloud technologies and/or on-premise infrastructure
Strong understanding of AWS architecture and services, including networking, security, storage, and compute.
Experience with designing and implementing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions on AWS.
