Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Southampton or Salisbury
• Mainly onsite, some home working
• £50,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience

A newly created opportunity to join a fast-growing IT Services company with office in Southampton & Salisbury.

The role will involve working with clients and internal teams to design, build, support and maintain infrastructure and application hosted on that infrastructure. This may involve working within highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance and pharmaceutical industries on a range of potentially unfamiliar tools technologies to which you will have the aptitude expected to adapt.

Summary of Experience:

• Demonstrable experience of Cloud Architecture – Azure
• Demonstrable Windows System Administration experience
• Knowledge of AWS/Linux is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable networking experience (routing, switching, VPN’s and Firewalls)
• Experience of using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform etc) to create, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure
• Strong Linux command line system administration
• Windows server system administration
• AWS Architecture, design and implementation
• Azure Architecture, design and implementation
• Networking; subnetting, vLAN’s, routing, ACL’s, troubleshooting and administration
• Firewall administration, setup, configuration, troubleshooting and administration
• VPN administration, setup, configuration, troubleshooting and administration
