Backend Developer with Node and Typescript experience required for a thriving digital media company based in Brighton. This would be a unique opportunity to work on a totally greenfield new platform build with a market leader who are making fantastic progress in their niche sector.

As a Backend Developer you will get to work with the latest tools and technologies in an Agile, Devops culture. They are using microservices and event-based architecture, so any experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker would be a great bonus. The tech you’ll be using as Backend Developer is based around a Typescript Back End, with Node used throughout – so experience with both would be ideal. Alternatively, if you have come from a different Back End environment for example Python or Golang where you have had some exposure to TS/Node then this can also be considered!

My client has an exciting roadmap and has lots of product development going on in the field of sports and live events and offers fantastic career progression opportunities, with plenty of ongoing support available.

They have an office based in Brighton and are open to flexible/remote working based around what works for you, however, you will need to come into the office every so often when required so need to live within a commutable distance. They also offer 25 days holiday, healthcare, and the opportunity to attend a couple of live events per year!
