Method Resourcing are proud to be representing a growing financial services organisation who specialise in both asset and wealth management who’s goal is to provide the customer with honest and reliable advice on their finances. This is an opportunity to join an rapidly growing scale up business who operate at the highest standard and work with some of the most exciting brands in finance.

The role:

You will be joining their existing mobile team where you’ll be building and adding new features within their app. This is a new and exciting greenfield best product built in microservices with some components built in Java 17! All their new code is written in Kotlin so this will be a great opportunity to learn new technologies and really grow as an engineer in the modern tech market.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Experience in building applications in Kotlin or Java
• Experience of developing microservices architecture
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge and skills on the Spring framework
• Experience on using distributed messaging Middleware, such Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with Docker containerisation, and Kubernetes based service deployment and management
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP

If you are London based then this role would require 2 days a week into their modern Central London offices where they have a dedicated engineering floor. However, if you are based outside of the London area then 2 days a month would be the expected travel required.
