BI Developer – Power BI/Power Apps/DAX – Reinsurance

BI Developer is required by this specialist Insurance organisation to as part of their Data/MI team to focus on BI development, working across the Azure BI stack, specifically T-SQL and Power BI.

As part of an existing BI development function supporting the overall business you will be involved in the following –

• Development of Power BI dashboards and associated SQL Server development
• Define data structures, flows and transformations to enable the accurate delivery of MI across the organisation
• T-SQL development
• Cloud BI service solution
• MDX/DAX – creating compelling visuals/dashboards
• Power Apps development – this is very beneficial to have
• Source Control – TFS or GIT
• System Analysis and design
• Azure BI and SSIS are both very beneficial
• Azure DevOps Kimball methodology also a nice to have

You must be able to demonstrate experience with the following to be considered –

• London Markets/Lloyd’s Syndicate
• Business facing requirement gathering – Underwriters specifically
• Power BI
• DAX/MDX
