Suffolk County Council is looking for Building and Construction (Programme Tutors) to join our team. The role is based in Bury St Edmunds. You will earn a competitive salary of £27,366 – £31,815 per annum. Your Building and Construction (Programme Tutors) role: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about using their knowledge and skills to coach and mentor the next generation of apprentices. This exciting opportunity to become an assessor and tutor within the Strategic Growth and Partnerships Apprenticeship Team at West Suffolk College will give you the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our students. Whilst experience in an assessing role is desirable, it is not essential. No two days are the same and you will enjoy the benefits of managing your own diary, working with a diverse caseload of individuals, and travelling across the East of England. What we’re looking for in our Building and Construction (Programme Tutors): You should have proficient IT skills, the ability to build a good rapport with your students, experience of coaching, mentoring or inspiring others in any capacity. At least 5 years Industry experience is essential. As our Building and Construction (Programme Tutors) you will be: responsible for an agreed caseload of apprenticeships students. We have a variety of roles available from bricklaying and groundworks, electrical and carpentry supporting the development of apprentice s skills, knowledge, and behaviours on a one-to-one basis in conjunction with their employer. Ensuring students receive the necessary training and that they are fully prepared for the End Point Assessment element of their programme. Golden Hello (Joining Bonus) – £3,000 – This will be paid as £1,500 at the end of first month of employment and £1,500 after six months completed service.
