With a focus on enhancing the visual appeal and individuality of vehicles, the company specializes in providing innovative and cutting-edge car styling solutions.JOB OBJECTIVES • Providing support for the implementation and usage of SAP Warehouse Management and SAP Logistic Execution functionalities with focus on Telford and Assembly sites in direct collaboration with Corporate ERP Team• Technical- and business-process knowledge in SAP modules Warehouse Management (WM) and Materials Management (MM)• Translate business requirements into technical requirements to be discussed together with local/global IT-department• Requirements gathering across the Operations & Logistics Teams – analyzing pain points and identifying improvement opportunities• optimize material flow and conception of warehouse structure to be implemented in SAP• Support for existing JIS processes and upcoming customer JIS projects in UK.• Willingness to travel between the assigned facilities in order to keep contact with shopfloor teamsASSIGNMENTS (MAIN WORKING AREAS)• Responsible for high performing operations of the SAP ERP system for the assigned functionalities and locations as part of the Team• Analyses of business process and support of operating departments in business process design and optimizations in modules Warehouse Management (WM) and Materials Management (MM)• 2nd level support for WM/MM for the assigned locations as part of the Team• preparation and execution of Keyser trainings in UK.• Lefthand support for standard changes and IT requirements management in UK • Manage Shopfloor Hardware as Scanner and Printer to keep WM Process running• conception and improvements of important core system functionalities within SAP as: • stock removal strategy/to-bin strategy • process goods receipts and goods issues • stock transfers• material staging to production and supply areas• picking and shipping goods for outbound deliveries and transportsJOB PROFILEEducation• Degree in IT engineering or similar job knowledge • MILT QualificationExperience• Experience with SAP ERP WM and MM or similar ERP systems• Working knowledge and experience of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP WM preferred)• Ability to work independently, plan and prioritise varying workload and demands• Working knowledge and experience of Logistics systems including MRP / ERP (SAP preferred)• Experience of Automotive Logistics / Manufacturing / JIS• Rough experience of managing and supporting IT-Infrastructure and IT-Devices on shopfloor• Experience in leading small projects in a matrix organization and environment with cross functional workingSpecial skills• Technical – and business-process knowledge• Understand automotive or other supply chains and material flow principlesRESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES• Set a good example of safe behaviour, particularly to new entrants and young persons;• Work in a safe manner and observe the site health and safety rules and procedures• Not misuse or interfere with anything provided to ensure the health and safety of themselves and others;• Correctly use the protective clothing and equipment provided;• Report any safety concern promptly to their supervisor and take action to prevent injury if it is safe to do so; • Report all injuries that occur to them at work and obtain the necessary first aid treatment;• Help in the investigation of accidents to prevent recurrence.AUTHORISATIONS / COMPETENCES• Responsible for the application maintenance of the relevant ERP systems and modules as part of corporate ERP-Team with the target of a robust, stable and highly performing system landscape • Solve incidents within the agreed Service Agreements on 2nd/3rd level in close corporation with the 1st level Helpdesk• Analyse Change Request and build solutions of high business value• Participate in and/or lead IT projects • Additional responsibility for Group Application Maintenance tasks as part of the Group IT harmonization agenda• You should be a self-motivated, innovative and energetic individual with a high problem-solving capability and the dedication to find best in class solutions for the business requirements.• All other tasks which are relevant for an IT Analysts position.• The position owner reports to the Team Leader of Corporate ERP Team Logistics• Collecting and filtering local IT requirements and lefhand support in UK (ca. 20% or 1 day/week)• The position owner reports in his of local IT requirements manager to the VP Digitalization & ITLocation: Telford with travel to UK sites as necessary Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive About the company:From body kits and spoilers to interior upgrades and customization options, POLYTEC CAR STYLING UK Ltd offers a wide range of products and services to cater to the needs of both car manufacturers and individual car enthusiasts.
