Business Analyst Gloucester / Hybrid Up to £46,000 per annum We are working with a leading public sector organisation in Gloucester who are seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing project delivery team. This Business Analyst will focus on software implementations as part of an extensive Digital Transformation programme. What will you be doing as a Business Analyst? Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and processes, identifying gaps and recommending software solutions. Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Develop comprehensive functional specifications, including use cases, wireframes, and process flows, to guide software development. Assist in the testing and quality assurance of software solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to industry standards. Provide training and support to end-users during software implementation and post-implementation phases. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software implementation and business analysis. What experience do you need as a Business Analyst Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on software implementations. In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and tools. Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in the public sector or knowledge of public service processes is desirable. What’s on offer?
