About the role
Booker Group is looking for a Business to Business Manager, in the role you will be the control point to manage the processes of integrating Suppliers & Products into the Booker, BRP, Best & National Account systems (SAP) to ensure we comply with all Health, Safe & Legal requirements, the adoption of latest Legislation, and adherence to Best Practices.
Role Responsibility
• Develop a close working relationship with the B2B Manager – EDI to collaboratively manage the full Supplier & Product side of the buisness
• Working with the B2B Manager – EDI ensure suppliers are set up correctly and promptly
• Ensure Supplier Product Set Up enquiries are dealt with effectively
• Provide feedback, guidance and training to ensure Suppliers conform with Product listing requirements
• Maintain the New line Form for Supplier & Trading teams to be able to collate information in a time effective manner
• Ensure new lines are correctly set up in SAP and released / DQA’d in a timely manner
• Ensure New line Verification process is maintained on a daily basis
• Communicate changes in Product / Pricing is cascaded to all relevant parties both prior and post implementation
• Maintain Pricing & Pricing Tiers in SAP for all Internal Businesses
• Manage SAP Hierarchy changes (Resummation etc.)
• Develop an understanding of pending changes to legislation and the impacts on the business
• Work with IT, Legal, Finance, Trading in managing system change requests to support Legislative changes and internal Ways of Working
• Develop a functional knowledge of the EDI Process to be able to assist & cover the B2B Manager – EDI as required
• Ensure Branch queries are dealt with to minimise disruption to the business
You will need
Work under own initiative and be self sufficient
• Maintain a consistent approach and presentation
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Data Systems (ideally SAP but not essential)
• Ability to prioritise activities and organise own work schedule where applicable
• Able to adapt quickly to change depending on project and workload requirements
• Desire to learn, add value, and drive improvement
• Excellent in building positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Develop good technical trouble shooting and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of how Products work
• Knowledge of decisions on Commercial impact
• Knowledge of the basic functions of the ‘Key people I work with’ section above
• Demonstrate ability to manage people
• Demonstrate ability to Project Manage
• Experience of Microsoft Office (in particular MS Excel & MS Powerpoint)
